Additionally, these services are delivered directly to homes, making the entire process both stress-free and accessible. People can also use the 1202 helpline for assistance.
Employment Opportunities for Facilitators
Not only is the app convenient for citizens, but it also opens up job opportunities. Trained Dastak facilitators, who deliver these services, earn commissions. The initiative is creating jobs while also ensuring efficient service delivery.
Expanding Across Punjab
Since its launch on June 4, 2024, the app has rapidly grown. It started with 10 services in Lahore. Now, it offers over 60 services. These services are available in 11 districts. Departments like Excise and Taxation are involved. The Police Department is also part of this initiative. Local Government services are included as well. The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is participating too.
