While holding a press conference in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz explained the events. He said the alleged incident reported on October 10 never happened. The girl who was reportedly assaulted did not attend the college on that day. Additionally, he emphasized that the claims about deleted CCTV footage lack merit because the incident never occurred.
Mariam revealed that the girl mentioned in the rumors has been hospitalized since October 2. Moreover, the security guard accused of the crime was on leave during the alleged incident. He was later arrest in Sargodha for further investigation.
The Chief Minister condemned the actions of PTI and termed them as an attempt to mislead the people. He highlighted how PTI used this fabricated event to gain attention through social media campaigns. Maryam emphasized that authorities must hold those responsible for creating this false narrative accountable. Additionally, the alleged victim’s mother has urged authorities to reveal the individuals behind the dissemination of these false claims.
