Pakistan has named its rising star, Mohammad Haris Appointed Captain Of Shaheens For Asia Cup for the upcoming ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams. The tournament will kick off in Oman on October 18, generating excitement among fans.

Before heading to Muscat on October 16, the Shaheens will hold a preparatory camp at the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre in Karachi. This camp runs from October 11 to 15, allowing players to sharpen their skills and build team chemistry. The team is ready to face tough competition ahead.

The Asia Cup features eight teams, split into two groups. All matches will be played at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground in Muscat. Group A consists of Afghanistan A, Bangladesh A, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka A. Meanwhile, the defending champions, Pakistan Shaheens, find themselves in Group B with India A, Oman, and UAE.

The Shaheens will have a challenging start. They will open their campaign against last year’s finalists, India A, on October 19. This match promises to be intense. Next, they will face the host nation, Oman, on October 21. Finally, they will conclude their group stage against UAE on October 23. Only the top two teams from each group will move on to the semi-finals on October 25, with the final set for October 27.

The squad includes talented players like Abdul Samad, Haider Ali, and Shahnawaz Dahani. The team management comprises experienced professionals. Umar Rasheed serves as head coach, while Imran Farhat takes on the role of batting coach. With such a strong lineup and dedicated management, the Pakistan Shaheens are poised for success.
